Guided Vara Lakshmi Vratham

This Vratam is traditionally performed by women on a Friday in Sravana maasam to seek the blessings of Mother Lakshmi. You are invited to perform Vara Lakshmi Vratham under the guidance of our Priest Shri Dharma Teja Garu. Complete puja kit including brass Kalasam will be provided.

Eight forces or energies are known as Adi Lakshmi (Understand and knowing goals), Dhana Lakshmi (Wealth), Dhanya Lakshmi (Food), Gaja Lakshmi (Cattle Wealth), Santana Lakshmi (Children), Veera Lakshmi (Valor), Vidya Lakshmi (Knowledge) and Vijaya Lakshmi (Victory). Each of these forces is called Lakshmi, and the eight forces are known as Ashta Lakshmi. Lord Vishnu is the asylum for the eight-Lakshmis or forces. These forces are personified and worshiped as Mother Lakshmi. The festival is observed mainly by women, invoking the blessings of Mother Lakshmi on them and their families.
