Class 31 : Summary
Story: We narrated stories from the Mausala parva, Mahaprasthanika parva and Swargarohanika parva. We concluded the great epic of Mahabharata with the way Lord Krishna and his clan came to their earthly end and how the Pandavas undertook the journey to heaven and Yudhishtira alone reaches heaven in his mortal body. We saw how Yama tests Yudhishtira a few times.
Reflection: We reflected on the non-permanence of everything on earth and how all good things have to come to an end too. We also reflected on the flaws of the Pandavas that are given as the reasons for them not all entering heaven in their mortal bodies. We observed most humans are not perfect and we have to constantly reflect and work on ourselves to make us better individuals. We reflected on Yudhishtira as one of the most virtuous and righteous beings.
